Financial support
You might be entitled to a fully funded AAT qualification, reduced fees or financial help to cover the costs of registration, assessment fees, books, and other course materials.
Funding support is available for all AAT qualifications across levels 1 to 4 depending on your age, location, and financial situation.
All accounting apprenticeships are fully funded, and the employer may also pay for the AAT qualification costs as part of your programme of study.

The AAT Bursary
We're delighted to be able to offer a bursary to financially disadvantaged people, giving them the opportunity to change their lives with an AAT qualification.
Applications will be re-opening in early 2025.
Student loans
Students may be eligible for loans to cover tuition fees and living costs, and those with a child, disability or an adult dependant may qualify for extra funding. Full-time or part-time study is eligible, although the types and amounts of student finance received will depend on where you live, and the type of course.

The over-24s may be able to apply for the 24+ Advanced Learning Loan, which covers course fees for Level 3 and 4 qualifications (AAT Advanced and Professional levels respectively).

Refunds policy
All refund requests should be made in writing and include supporting evidence.
Refunds will only be made, in accordance with our refunds policy, once the initial payment has cleared into AAT’s bank account and will only ever be made to the person who made the initial payment.
