Planned systems upgrade to affect payments and services: 1-7 July 2024

From 1-7 July 2024, AAT are upgrading our payment systems. We’re doing this so we can future-proof our services and continue to meet your needs as effectively as possible.

During this period, your ability to pay for and access a range of AAT products and services will be impacted.

We appreciate your patience during our planned upgrade and we apologise for any inconvenience caused during the brief period of disruption.

Services affected will include:

  • making payments online or via our customer support team
  • accessing receipts and invoices
  • registering for a qualification
  • applying for or renewing professional or licensed membership.

Normal service is due to resume on 8 July 2024 or shortly thereafter. For more information on how this impacts you, please click on your audience group below.

Student registrations

Between 25 June-7 July 2024, there is no access to the Registration form for under 16-year-olds.

Between 1-7 July 2024, there is no access to qualification registration. If you are looking to register for one of our qualifications, please do so after these dates.

Please note, if you registered prior to this date, you're able to book and sit assessments during this period.

Existing students

Between 1-7 July 2024, you are not be able to:

  • register for any other AAT qualification
  • make payments or access your payment history
  • access receipts and invoices
  • make exemption payments
  • request a replacement certificate
  • use student payment codes
  • apply for AAT professional membership (AATQB or MAAT).

There is no effect on booking and sitting assessments provided you registered as a student before the affected dates.

Training providers

Between 1-7 July 2024, your students are be able to:

  • register for any AAT qualification
  • make payments or access their payment history
  • access receipts and invoices
  • make exemption payments
  • request a replacement certificate
  • apply for AAT professional membership (AATQB or MAAT)
  • generate student payment codes.

There is no effect on booking and sitting assessments provided your student registered with AAT before the affected dates and access to EPA-SEPA will remain.

Professional members

Between 25 June-7 July, there is no access to:

Between 1-7 July 2024, there is no access to:

  • payment services including payment history
  • receipts and invoices
  • requests for replacement certificates
  • membership application services, including applications for AATQB, MAAT, FMAAT and licensed membership
  • members due to renew are also not be able to access renewal services during this time.

Actions required

  • If you’re due to renew during this time, we’ll be in touch with more details however please be assured, you’ll be able to successfully renew outside of these dates.

Employers of students or professional members

Between 1-7 July 2024, both AAT students and members won't have access to payment services which means they're unable to:

  • register for an AAT qualification
  • register for a professional membership
  • access invoices and receipts.

AAT students are however able to continue to book and sit assessments.

Assessment venues

Assessment scheduling and sitting are available during the period of 1-7 July, therefore there should be little impact. Students must be registered with AAT prior to 1 July should they wish to sit assessments during this period.
