  1. She submitted a completed MAAT application form to AAT wherein she answered "no" to question, “Have you ever entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) or been subject to an equivalent insolvency matter either in the UK or in any other jurisdiction?” Her answers to the questions were:
    • Misleading
    • Dishonest, in that she knew them not to be true.
  2. She submitted a completed AATQB application form to AAT wherein she answered "no" to the question, “Have you ever entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) or been subject to an equivalent insolvency matter either in the UK or in any other jurisdiction?” Her answer to the questions were: 
    • Misleading
    • Dishonest, in that she knew them not to be true
  3. She submitted a completed licence member application form to AAT wherein she answered "no" to the question, “Have you ever entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) or been subject to an equivalent insolvency matter either in the UK or in any other jurisdiction?” Her answers were:
    • Misleading
    • Dishonest, in that she knew them not to be true 

 

Finding

By reason of the conduct set out in the Allegations above, Mwansa Bennett is guilty of misconduct pursuant to Article 21 of AAT’s Articles of Association.

Order

Mwansa Bennett is hereby:

  1. Expelled from AAT for a period of five years.

Consent

The decision of the Investigations Team shall stand as an Order of the Association pursuant to Regulations 5.2 and 5.3 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
