Misconduct
Anthony Fuggle’s conduct was found to be in breach of the Code of Professional Ethics and to have posed a risk to the public and/or undermine public confidence in the Association and its members as follows:
1. On or around 12 August 2021, he pleaded guilty to an offence under Section 160 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988
2. He acted contrary to AAT’s Criminal Conviction Policy in that he failed to notify the Association of his offence within 30 days of the date of his conviction.
Finding
Grounds for disciplinary action existed and the matter was suitable for exercise of the Investigations Team's powers under the Disciplinary Regulations.
Order
Anthon Fuggle is hereby:
1. Expelled from membership of AAT for a period of three years
2. Warned that any future application to reinstate his AAT membership will be subject to a fit and proper assessment.
Consent
Anthony Fuggle consented to the decision of the Investigations Team in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
