Misconduct
Amy West’s professional or personal conduct, was found to be in breach of the Code of Professional Ethics and to have posed a risk to the public or was likely to undermine public confidence in the Association or its members; namely:
1. On 16 September 2021, Amy West entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) whilst an associate member of the Association.
2. Amy West failed to notify AAT of her Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) within 30 days of the date of its occurrence, as obligated to under AAT’s Insolvency policy.
Finding
Grounds for disciplinary action existed and the matter was suitable for exercise of the Investigations team's powers under the Disciplinary Regulations.
Order
Amy West is hereby:
i. Reprimanded: Reprimand, to remain live on Miss West’s record for a period of 2 years from the date the sanction is imposed.
Consent
Amy West has agreed to submit to the decision of the Investigations Team in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
