A fantastic opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant who is looking to join an established, local firm and embark on the next stage in their career. 
Qualified AAT or qualified by experience, wishing to start or already studying towards ACA / ACCA qualifications. Study not essential if not desired. 
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be assisting the partners and managers on the preparation of annual and management accounts and tax returns. You will be carrying out a broad scope of duties mainly within the accounts production team but also be on hand to assist the team to complete bookkeeping, VAT returns and CIS returns where applicable. 
You will ideally be working in a similar role and have at least 2 years accounting experience. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the industry and the tax system but the successful candidate will be provided with in-house training to enhance their skills. 
Experience of accounting software's such as Sage Line 50, and cloud-based solutions such as Sage, Xero or Quickbooks would be advantageous. 
The office working hours are 37.5 hours per week with the option of working hybrid (2 days from home / 3 in the office). Flexibility is also available for working hours as we operate a 'Core Hours' 10am-4pm system. We offer 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.

As part of the bookkeeping team, you will be providing a high level bookkeeping service to our clients. You will be carrying out a broad scope of duties including bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS returns and Administration where applicable. 
Experience of accounting software such as Sage Line 50, and cloud-based solutions such as Sage, Xero or Quickbooks would be advantageous.
