How to transfer units from AQ2016 to Q2022

If you've started your studies and have part-completed your qualification on the AQ2016 standards and you wish to transfer these across to Q2022 to complete your studies, you need to register for the level you wish study on Q2022 standards.

Once you've registered, the units you completed under the AQ2016 standards will be transferred to Q2022 qualification. Please use our Q2022 Transition tool to see which assessments will transfer.

If you prefer, you can check the transfer rules for the units you've completed in the Transitional arrangements document (PDF).

Please note, only the units you completed under AQ2016 will be transferred to Q2022 qualifications. No units completed prior to AQ2016 syllabus can be transferred to Q2022.

Where to sit assessments

If you're unable to sit an assessment at your college or are self-studying, you can find external venues using the Assessment Venue Search tool.

External venues may charge extra to sit assessments. The prices quoted are subject to change, so please contact the venue for detailed information on costs, dates and availability.

Alternatively, you can sit your assessment via remote invigilation. Remote invigilation is where you and your screen are recorded in the assessment platform. This is then reviewed by an invigilator. It lets you:
•    take assessments at home or another secure location of your choice, like your workplace.
•    take assessments at any time (as most exams are available for scheduling every day)
•    have a more flexible approach to sitting your assessments and completing your qualification.
•    For more information on Remote invigilation, please visit the remote invigilation pages.
