We were all deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen last week. Our condolences go to the Royal Family and to all those affected by this incredibly sad news.

During this time of national mourning, we want to confirm our assessment availability to let students and assessment venues plan effectively.

Assessment availability

All AAT assessments will continue to be available as usual during the national mourning period, including on the day of the Queen’s funeral, Monday 19 September 2022.

AAT assessment support on Monday 19 September

As a mark of respect to the late Queen, on Monday 19 September AAT will be observing the public holiday, and our offices and support lines will be closed.

If you're a student planning on taking an assessment on this day, please contact your assessment venue in advance to find out whether they'll be open, as you may need to have it rearranged.

If you're an assessment venue and are planning on closing on this day, please ensure any students scheduled for an assessment are informed in advance, and their assessments rearranged.

Professional Diploma Synoptic (PDSY) window extended

Our PDSY assessment window was planned as 19–25 September 2022. As the first day of the window falls on the day of the Queen's funeral, we will be extending it by one day. This means the last day of the window will now be Monday 26 September 2022.

PDSY assessment results will continue to be released on Thursday 3 November 2022.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
